Sometimes you just got to love DDD or Diners, Dive Ins, and Dives with Guy F. I have had the absoulte pleasure of dining at some of the places he has visited via his television show. Most recently "The Farm Shed" in my new digs of Lexington, SC. Happend to be told of this place by some friends and FINALLY decided to venture over, only to be met with the cutest little mom and pop literal farm shed that you can imagine. I was so excited to try the grandmom's cooking after my nose caught a whif of what was transpitiring in the kitchen. To my great sadness the main dish I was so looking forward to was not available because there had been a rerun of the show Triple D earlier in the week. If I had only known, I would have watched. Also though I was treated to 4 of the most mouth watering side dishes one could hope to spoon into their mouth. Tomato Chedder Bake, Lima Beans, Mac N Cheese, and Cornbread Salad. Yes in the south we make anything into a salad, even cornbread. We were severed by some very freindly staff and because of our dismay to not getting a main dish we did get dessert. Carmel Cake and Chocolate Delight. Needless to say, I've got a new regular dinner joint.
